Bulletin – 13th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Dear Friends,

I will be away this Sunday and Pastor Dick Dahl will be standing in for me for which I am deeply grateful! I will be joining the Rochester, MN Franciscans at Assisi Heights along with other Cojourners to participate in General Assembly. We will all have time for work, prayer and play together as we get to know each other better and look for ways to be Franciscans well into the future. The Sisters will be pondering what their future will look like going forward as will the Cojourners and we will have times for joint sharing as well. Please keep our work and time together in your prayers and know that I will be thinking of and praying for you and your needs too in my absence. For those of you traveling–have safe and enjoyable trips!

The readings this week challenge us all in our Christian walk to decide to follow the law of love and to keep at it!

Come; celebrate with the All Are One community this week as we endeavor together to follow Jesus’ lead.

Peace and love,

Pastor Kathy

P.S. Remember to save July 24, 2016 for our Mary of Magdala celebration–Mass and potluck picnic on the farm!

Bulletin – 12th Weekend in Ordinary Time

Dear Friends,

We will meet on Saturday at 4:30 P.M. for our weekly liturgy. We are asked to reflect on who Jesus is for us–a big question whose answer determines really how our lives will be lived. We are told that we will have a cross to carry and we have to consider what that means for us.

Come; celebrate with us as we ponder the answers to these significant questions–together.

Peace and love,

Pastor Kathy

Readings:

  • Zechariah 12: 10-11
  • Galatians 3: 26-29
  • Luke 9: 18-24

Bulletin – 11th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Dear Friends,

This week we are gifted with three stories depicting the love and mercy of our God.  These stories are not intended for our enjoyment but each one comes with the expectation that we as Jesus’ followers will go out and do the same–share a love that as the psalmist says, “is finer than life!”

Come; be with us this week!

Peace and love,

Pastor Kathy

Readings:

  • 2 Samuel 12: 7-10, 13
  • Galatians 2: 16, 19-21
  • Luke 7: 36-50

10th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Dear Friends,

We are back to Ordinary Time with this coming Sunday. This is a bit of a misnomer in that the challenge of the Scriptures during this “ordinary” time have not ceased.  This Sunday we witness the compassion of two prophets, Elijah and Jesus and their reactions to their world–compassion in both cases, to two widows.  What is our reaction to the world we experience each and every day?  Come; celebrate and pray with us this week.

Peace and love,

Pastor Kathy

Readings:

  • 1 Kings 17: 17-24
  • Galatians 1: 11-19
  • Luke 7: 11-17

Bulletin – Corpus Christi Sunday

Dear Friends,

This week we are again challenged with a mystery that is probably best understood once again through our hearts, than through our heads–most matters concerning our loving God are, I would suggest.

The feast of Corpus Christi, the Body of Christ calls us to be Jesus’ body for the world, plain and simple–we must move from the altar to the community.

Come; ponder this mystery with us this week.

Peace and love,

Pastor Kathy
