- Sunday, October 4, 2026 will be our 2nd Joint Service with our sister community. They will be celebrating World Communion Sunday, and we are privileged to, “come to their table ” with them! Jointly, we will be remembering Francis of Assisi this Sunday – a saint for us all. We strive to emulate his love for all created life in memory of Jesus of Nazareth. Remember to bring a picture and the name of your pet, to be part of our offering and blessing on Sunday – there will be a table up front to place your pictures and/or names of your pets. First Congregational children are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal to bless.
- There will be a special collection for the Minnesota Conservation Fund to support our state’s care for the land and its animals. PLEASE MAKE ANY CHECKS OUT TO ALL ARE ONE WITH MINNESOTA CONSERVATION FUND ON THE MEMO LINE. That way you will get credit in our books. Additionally, there will be a special basket at the entrance to the “big church” for AAO monetary gifts – Robert will later write a check to First Congregational combining all the gifts and we will send our gift in together.

Dear Friends,
St. Francis of Assisi really calls us, “to be our best” – to see all of creation with eyes and hearts of love – no small task – but the more that we try, the better we become at it. Hopefully, many of you can join us on Sunday.
