Bulletin – 6th Sunday of Easter in an Almost Time of Safety

NO MASS IN PERSON THIS WEEK, MAY 9, 2021

Happy Mothers’ Day to all who have “mothered,” be it physically, emotionally, or spiritually!

Consensus from my, “taking your pulse” survey was that we wait a few more months before meeting again for liturgy in person. We will concentrate through the warmer months on some outdoor liturgies, beginning with an end of July celebration of our annual Mass on the Farm remembering our sister, Mary of Magdala, and all women for their rightful places within our Church.

Dear Friends, we are moving through the Easter Season, with “Alleluia” as our song and response to our great God’s never-ending love for each of us, especially in the gift of Jesus, our brother and friend.

Again, the readings speak of “love” – God first loving us and then, we, returning the love. Jesus speaks of this action as, “bearing fruit.”

May we each follow, to the best of our abilities–to bear much, loving “fruit” as Jesus, our brother did!

Peace and love,

Pastor Kathy
