Once a year, at about this time; we spend a day remembering a woman follower of our brother Jesus, Mary of Magdala, who was prophet and priest,  and in so doing , we not only honor her for her ministry and faithfulness, but we honor all women for their calls like the men of this world to be priests and prophets. Each of us must remember that this is our call–confirmed in our baptisms and it is never to gain power but is given for service.  Let us pray today for each other to better realize how wonderfully we are made  and of how graciously we each have been called.

We will celebrate this Saturday at 4:30 P.M. on the Gerold and Margaret Redig Family Farm, just 7 miles south of Winona. Address is : 24472 Gilmore Valley Road, Winona.

Come; celebrate with us the memory of Mary of Magdala and of all the women in our lives, those with us and those who have passed on. Let us thank God that we are blessed to have both female and male manifestations of the God Face in our world.
