Dear Friends,
Palm Sunday Mass is on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 10 A.M.
- Remember on Saturday, March 24, 2018, between 4:30-6:30 P.M., you have the opportunity to come out and support our young leaders in Winona at their version of the March for Life–two buses will be traveling to our Minnesota Capitol earlier in the day on Saturday to petition and to demand change from our legislators to make our schools and other public places safer from gun violence. You can arrive at the High School at 4:30 P.M. and march with the returning students beginning at 4:45 P.M. or you can join the march anywhere along the way to the band shell at Lake Winona. A program will be held at 5:30 P.M. and that is an option too, to join in at the band shell. It is very important that we as a community support our young people in this very courageous stepping up and out!
- This is the last Sunday for food collection for the March drive for Winona Volunteer Services–please be generous! Some ideas are canned low-sodium soups, meats, fish, peanut butter, vegetables, fruits, rice and beans.
Holy Week Schedule: Good Friday Service--4:30 P.M. on March 30, 2018–
Easter Sunday Mass on April 1, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. –THERE WILL BE NO FORMAL FELLOWSHIP TIME AFTER EASTER SUNDAY MASS FOR THOSE WHO MAY BE TRAVELING FOR CELEBRATIONS out of town.
With Palm Sunday; we are entering the holiest week of the year–a time that calls attention to how much our God loves us and cares for us in giving us our brother, Jesus.
Come; be with us to remember, to be grateful and to celebrate all that our God is and has done for us.
