• Those wishing to assist with expenses in getting our contributions of food and clothing to Standing Rock Reservation can give a financial gift to Michael Maher either in the form of cash or check made out to Michael. Cash is preferred. 
• Remember to sign up for the Christmas Potluck after the 4;30 Mass, 12-17-2016
• Remember our collection for supplies this Sunday 12-11 and next Saturday, 12-17 for the Winona Community Warming Center (see earlier email for needed items)

Our journey through Advent continues, on our way to Christmas–we are part way there as this Sunday will be Gaudete, or Joy Sunday.  The prophet, Isaiah speaks of this joy and amid that joy, the apostle, James asks for patience in our waiting.  We see that even John the Baptist’s faith wavers as he lives on in prison, but recovers when Jesus reminds him that his work has not been in vain.

Come; celebrate with joy and patience and faith this Sunday.
