Holy Thursday Service–4:30 P.M.

Dear Friends,

Holy Thursday is a unforgettable night as we remember Jesus’ Last Supper with his friends and family.  It is high in significance as he shows them very clearly how they are to be in this world–servants-as he washes their feet.*

Jesus celebrates a final meal with his loved ones which becomes the institution of the Eucharist–a gift of love to those who would follow him–“Whenever you do this, do it in memory of me.”  “I will be with you always!”

* You will have the opportunity to have your feet washed at  this service if you wish.

Readings:

  • Exodus 12: 1-8
  • 1 Corinthians 11: 23-26
  • John 13: 1-15

Good Friday Service–4:30 P.M.

Friends,

This service tends to be a somber one as we remember, through the Scriptures how much our brother, Jesus has loved us. We pray for our Church, we venerate the cross, we receive communion.  Both  services are rich in symbolism and ritual. Come; remember with us.

  • Isaiah 52: 13–53: 12
  • Hebrews 4: 14-16; 5: 7-9
