Dear Friends,

This week’s readings call us to consider suffering—what it is all about and why there is suffering in our world. Our brother, Jesus, helps us make sense of it if we can keep open minds and hearts. Come; ponder these mysteries with us this week!

A reminder that Jane and Roger Bollinger have invited the parish to a pot-luck at their home on Saturday, October 24^th at noon-? They will do barbecue for buns and will supply pickles and liquid refreshments. The entertainment will be a showing of Jane’s doll collection and Roger’s farm toy collection. Please get back to me with your availability to come and what you might bring for the pot-luck. Jane and Roger live in Buffalo City area and will give us directions when we get closer to the date. This sounds like a fun time–thanks Jane and Roger for initiating this get-together!
