Bulletin – Pentecost Sunday

Dear Friends,

This weekend, along with Memorial Day; we celebrate, Pentecost—50 days since Easter. Pentecost remembers an additional, special gift of our brother Jesus to us—the coming of his Spirit—his being with us in a new way—“having our backs,” in modern parlance—being our inspiration, our wisdom, our strength in all that life brings, to live as fully as we can, Jesus’ life now—to carry on as he did.

Come; friends—be with us this week and celebrate the  mystery of our God’s love for us.

Peace and love, Pastor Kathy

P.S. Now that I am retired from my chaplain position at the hospital, please be aware that each thirdSaturday of the month, we will have a 4:30 P.M. Mass with no Mass on Sunday on that weekend. Someone asked me, isn’t that always what we have done and, “yes” for the most part it has been, except when the month begins on Sunday, then our 4:30 Mass would fall on the second Saturday as I was committed to the 3rd Sunday always at Lake Winona Manor with my job. Hopefully, that is clear. Actually, all you need to remember going forward is that we will always have Mass on the 3rdSaturday at 4:30 P.M. I know some of you prefer the Saturday Mass, so we decided to keep it and then it gives your pastor a Sunday off once a month!
