Bulletin – 13th Sunday in [Extra] Ordinary Time

Mass in-person in our regular place this Sunday at 10 A.M. Come; join us! Until the children can be vaccinated, we are asking them to wear masks.

Just so that you can plan and feel safe, the following will be in place for the time being:

  • no hand-holding at the Our Father
  • reception of communion in bread form only
  • no physical expression (touch) at “kiss of peace” except among families–waves, smiles–fine!

Dear Friends,

This will be our first Sunday back in person! Yah! As you know, last weekend, we did meet on Saturday afternoon for the first time. We are finding our way and need to be patient with each other as we work our way safely back again.

Wisdom literature tells us that ,”we are modeled on the divine” and we must trust that our good God will always be with us.

Peace and love, Pastor Kathy

Bulletin – 12th Weekend in [Extra] Ordinary Time

First in-person Mass this Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 4:30 P.M. at our regular place at the Lutheran Campus Center on Huff Street! If you are fully vaccinated, no need to wear a mask or to social-distance. If you are not vaccinated, you should wear a mask. Some people have told me that they will wear a mask anyway, as a personal choice and that is fine.

Dear Friends,

This is a wonderful time that is upon us as we prepare for the 12th Weekend in [Extra] Ordinary Time and our 1st in-person mass in 14 months! We are overjoyed and hope that many of you can join us this Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 4:30 P.M. at our regular place at the Lutheran Campus Center on Huff Street.

Come; celebrate with us being together, physically, once again. Peace and love, Pastor Kathy

P.S. If you can’t be with us this weekend, but I can help in any way, don’t hesitate to be in touch. 507-429-3616 or aaorcc2008@gmail.com.

Dear Friends,

We must “walk by faith” many times because we don’t often know how things will go, even after we have, as they say, “done our homework!”

Come; walk with us this week, trusting that Jesus, our brother will always show us the way.

Peace and love,

Pastor Kathy

P.S. Always remember my friends, to call or email me if I can help you in any way, or if you would just like to talk–aaorcc2008@gmail.com or 507-429-3616.

Pray this week my friends for this wonderful body, and ask our brother Jesus to show us how to be “family.”

Bulletin – Trinity Sunday

ZOOM MASS THIS SUNDAY, MAY 30, 2021 AT 10:00 A. M. This will be our last Zoom Mass, as we plan to meet in person for the first time on Saturday afternoon, June 19, 2021 at 4:30 P.M. in our regular space at 451 Huff Street in Winona. In-person Masses are for all those who are completely vaccinated–meaning that it has been two weeks since your second shot. For children, I will leave that to parents’ discretion.

We looked into live-streaming our Masses for those who can’t attend in person, especially for those far away and have found it to be prohibitive financially and technologically. So, hopefully, those of you at a distance might want to check in for this last Zoom Mass. I will of course continue to a send out the “Prayers, Readings and Homily” emails to all on our list . Additionally, for those far away, please stop in and join us for Mass whenever you are visiting Winona!

Dear Friends,

This week we are called upon to reflect on the mystery of the Trinity of God, Creator, Savior and Spirit–one, yet three. Let us open our minds and hearts to see our God as completely as is possible–beyond Father, Son and Spirit.

Peace and love, Pastor Kathy

P.S. Please be in touch if I can help in any way, or if you would just like to chat–507-429-3616 or aaorcc2008@gmail.com.
