Bulletin – Special Celebration of Mary of Magdala – Mass on the Farm

Dear Friends,

Mass on the Redig Family Farm-July 23, 2017, 10 A.M.–Celebration of Mary of Magdala and of all women

This Sunday we will gather for our annual celebration of Mary of Magdala and ultimately, a celebration of all women and of their God-given calls to serve the Church in many and wonderful ways, including as, priests!

As we will discuss in this Sunday’s liturgy, if the Churches do not model inclusivity and respect for women, it gives the rest of society permission not to treat them with justice either.

If you have not indicated yet that you will join us on Sunday, be in touch with me soon! We will be meeting at the Redig Family Farm for an outdoor Mass (weather permitting) and a pot-luck lunch to follow.

Hoping to see you on Sunday!

Peace and love,

Pastor Kathy

Bulletin – 15th Week in Ordinary Time

Dear Friends,

Mass on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 4:30 P.M.

Remember the Mary of Magdala celebration of Mass on the farm with pot-luck lunch on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 10 A.M.–sign up soon!

The message this week is all about the “ground” that we prepare for the Word of God.  The writers of the Word, another name for Jesus, our brother, give us the image of the “seed” and of how it is full of potential for good depending on the ground (soil) it is placed in.  Paul tells us that we are called to freedom when we choose to follow the way of our brother, Jesus.

May we all strive to choose his way, Jesus, the Christ, in our lives.

I will be away at a conference this Saturday–Dick Dahl will preside.

Peace and love,

Pastor Kathy

Our walk through life as followers of our brother Jesus call us continually to know our God better, as Creator, Savior and Spirit–the Trinity.  Jesus has told us–if we come to know him, then we know the One who sent him as they are One and the Same.  As we strive to know our loving God better, let us keep our eyes on Jesus.

Come; be with us this week!

Peace and love,

Pastor Kathy

Bulletin – 12th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Dear Friends,

Mass on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 10 A.M.

Remember July 23, 2017, Mary of Magdala Celebration–Mass on the Redig Farm–let Pastor Kathy know if you can come and what you will bring!

This Sunday we move back into Ordinary Time. And as we have said many times, the only “ordinary” thing about these Sundays is that they are not major feasts like Christmas and Easter! I say that they are not ordinary because we still are challenged each week by our brother Jesus and others, to be our best selves.

Come; be with us and celebrate our oneness as Jesus’ followers.

Peace and love,

Pastor Kathy
