Bulletin – 17th Sunday of Ordinary Time

Mass on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at 10 A.M. COVID restrictions are still in place for everyone’s safety.

REMEMBER to sign up for our Mary of Magdala celebration coming soon, on August 14, 2022 We will begin with a 10 A.M. Mass and a pot-luck lunch with follow. This Mary, whose feast day is actually this Friday, July 22, has been unjustly maligned through much of our Catholic history, and this celebration’s goal is to change that image, and not just for Mary, but for all women. I have come across some new exegesis with regard to this Mary that I am looking forward to sharing with you this year!

Hopefully this finds all of you reasonably well–and please don’t hesitate to be in touch with me if I can help in any way. 507-429-3616 or aaorcc2008@gmail.com.

Bulletin – 16th Weekend in Ordinary Time

Mass on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. on July 16, 2022. COVID restrictions per board decision is that we continue to wear masks at services for the time being as new variants of OMICRON are afoot!

We will have a couple of visitors at Saturday’s Mass, celebrating with us and discreetly taking some pictures as they are doing a documentary on women priests.

Remember our Mary of Magdala celebration of women, coming up on Sunday, August 14, 2022 (new date) on the farm, starting at 10 a.m. with mass and pot-luck picnic to follow. If you haven’t yet signed up, please do so soon and let me know what you might be able to bring for potluck.

Dear Friends,

This week’s readings call us to be “hospitable” in our world. We are reminded that each of us are “traveling” through all that life brings and that each of us has a “need to be listened to,” beyond being physically cared for.

Come; be with us this week on Saturday!

Peace and love,

Pastor Kathy

P.S. Please don’t ever hesitate to call, 507-429-3616 or by email, aaorcc2008@gmail.com if I can help in any way.

Bulletin – 15th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Mass on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 10 A.M.–COVID restrictions will still be in place. (We will be looking at these measures again at our board meeting next week).

Coming up on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 10 A.M. we will be again having our Mary of Magdala celebration on the farm. As you will recall, this is a Sunday to set right our older images of this Mary from prostitute to prophet and priest. In uplifting her image, we in fact uplift the images of all women. Come; celebrate with us and enjoy a pot-luck meal afterward. Being that we will be outside, masks will not be required. I will put out a separate signup sheet for this event.

Dear Friends,

We will meet once again this Sunday in our usual space for Mass. COVID seems to have passed me by now and I look forward to being with you all!

This week’s readings call us to respond to what life brings, primarily with our hearts–we are called to be compassionate, seeing others’ sufferings as our own. Much in our present day life needs such a response.

Come; pray with us this week.

Peace and love,

Pastor Kathy

P.S. Please don’t ever hesitate to call if I can be of help to you–507-429-3616 or email, aaorcc2008@gmail.com.

Bulletin – 6th Weekend of Easter

  • Mass on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 4:30 P. M.
  • After Saturday’s Mass, I will be away for three Sundays, returning for the Saturday Mass in June on the 18th at 4:30 P. M. There will be NO MASSES in my absence.
  • Following the posting of this Saturday’s homily, I will post a series of Mass readings, prayers and homilies for the Sundays that I will be away.

Dear Friends,

This week and next will be the actual last Sundays of the Easter Season, followed by Pentecost, Trinity and Corpus Christi Sundays. Easter time celebrates the great love, in Jesus, that our God has for each of us, showing us how to live and to die, again in Jesus with the hope of rising to a new life one day.

As I said above, after this next weekend, Robert and I will be away–we would appreciate your prayers for our safety.

So, do come pray with us on Saturday if you are able.

Peace and love,

Pastor Kathy

Bulletin – 5th Sunday of Easter

  • Mass on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 10 A.M. COVID restrictions are still in place.
  • Our Saturday Mass this month will be on May 21, 2022 at 4:30 P.M. Sometimes this is confusing, but if you remember that the Saturday Mass always falls on the third Saturday of the month, you will be able to keep it straight. It becomes confusing when the month begins on a Sunday as was the case for May. So, while May 15th is the 3rd Sunday, Saturday, May 14th is only the 2nd Saturday, thus next Saturday will be the 4:30 Mass as it is the third Saturday. Hopefully, not too confusing!
  • Please don’t ever hesitate to be in touch by phone, 507-429-3616 or by email, aaorcc2008@gmail.com if I can help you in any way.

Dear Friends,

The weeks of the Easter Season continue on-ward and each one continues to call us to walk in faith, with hope and with love in all we do after the model of Jesus, our brother. We help each other in this task that isn’t always easy, and in fact, is quite challenging at times.

So, come; pray with us this week.

Peace and love,

Pastor Kathy
