Bulletin – 5th Sunday of Easter

Dear Friends,

We continue our journey through this Easter Season and we find that Jesus, our Brother continues to challenge us ever more to really be his followers not only in word, but in deed.

We are into the month of May and so remember, our sister, Mary, Jesus’ mother, a true feminine face of God. I like to consider her a sister, rather than a mother, for the journey—a strong and courageous model in how to follow her son. If you don’t see her as strong and courageous, take another look at the Magnificat!  She was a woman of action, not someone to relocate to a pedestal in the corner! Come; be with us this week!

Peace and love,

Pastor Kathy

Readings:

  • Acts: 9: 26-31
  • 1 John 3: 18-24
  • John 15: 1-8

Bulletin – 3rd Weekend of Easter

Dear Friends,

This weekend we are called to continue thinking and praying about what new life as resurrected people is really all about. We haven’t reached that fullness yet, but just the same, in the reality of the Easter message; we are called to live as resurrected, renewed people, who believe in the mystery of all that Jesus taught us about living fully and completely, the divine life within each of us. Come; celebrate this SATURDAY afternoon with us!

Peace and love,
Pastor Kathy

P.S. Remember in your prayers, Giles Schmid who will be buried tomorrow and his family.
